Controversy over Land Deal by Robert Vadra

Now Chairman of Indian National Lok Dal party Om Prakash Chautala has attacked on Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra . Chautala has alleged that Vadra using his influence has bought land at low cost and made huge profit by selling at high rates in Mewat of adjoining Gurgaon. The land owner become MLA on the ticket of the Congress.

As per Chautala, in 2009 Vadra bought 28 acres land in Mewat region bordering Gurgaon for only 71 Lac and sold two years later for two crore 15 lac rupees.

According to a news channel, due to bordering region of Gurgaon's rate of land in Mewat are very high. But Vadra bought land three years ago on a much lower price. This land was bought from six different people at about three lac rupees per acre. The most interesting part is that in 2009 Haryana Government fixed 16 lac rupees per acre stamp duty for this region. This means Vadra bought land for three million per acre and paid stamp duty of 16 lac per acre.

Now the opposition party of Chautala is smelling some mess in this transaction. They want in-depth examination and evaluation of this deal. He has questioned the Government's how purchase and sale of land below government fixed rates was done.
