Rajat Gupta sentenced two year imprisonment and $50 million fine


Goldman sachs former Director Rajat Gupta in the case of insider trading, a U.S. Court has sentenced two years imprisonment and a fine of $ 50 million on him. During the hearing in court. the prosecution has sought imprisonment of eight to ten-year-for Gupta's. In the America's business history this was the biggest case of insider trading in which Rajat Gupta was sentenced. Around a years ago U.S. prosecution lawyers Prit Bharara filed papers in court against the accused in Mainhanttan. Arrest of former Goldman Sachs Director Rajat Gupta stunned the Wall Street.

Gupta was ex-Director of global investment bank Goldman Sachs and Proctor & Gamble an us FMCG company. He used his position and provided confidential information to hedge funds Gallion of both companies. Due to this founder of fund Raja Rajnatnam earned $ 1.8 million illegal profits. The U.S. Security & Exchange Commission (sec) charged that Rajat Gupta is friend and business affiliate of Rajaratnam.

India successfully test fires Prithvi-2 missile


India' potential nuclear-ballistic missile Prithvi-2 was successfully test-fired from the chandipur testing range in Balasor district. The missile has a range of 350 kilometers of firepower.

ITR Director M V K V Prasad said that the test was successful. The missile was tested by the Indian armed forces. Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) scientists were monitoring the trial.

Prasad explained the missile's capabilities. Prithvi is the country's first domestic-made ballistic missile. This is one among the five missiles developed under the country's integrated guided missile development program (IGMDP).

This is a medium-range missile, which can reach its goals in 483 seconds. It can hit up to a height of 43.5 km and can afford 500 kg of weight.

Rajesh Khanna last film "Riyasat" to release in December


The late actor Rajesh Khanna ( Kaka's ) last film "Riyasat" will be released on 28 December on the eve of his 70th birthday. Kaka passed away on July 18 this year. He played the lead role in this film.

Film director Ashok Tyagi said that they can still release the film but they want to release it on his birthday on December 29. Since this day is Saturday so they will only release a day earlier.

Tyagi said Kaka left a letter behind their desire. This letter will be opened just before release of the film. This film shoot began in February 2011 and was completed in October. After a long illness, Rajesh Khanna passed away on July 18 this year but film "Riyasat" was completed before.
